We are off to the AWANA grand Prix tonight! My husband, son and I worked together to make this sleek wood car! I love the way it turned out! Just pray that it makes it down the track and that my son has a blast!
UPDATE:
We had so much fun! My son loved watching his car race, it came in second in two races and third the last time! I was proud that he did not shed one tear and rooted his friends on! MY husband was so glad that it made it all the way down the track! It was a great night!
It looks Awesome! I hope your car is fast tonight! My daughters are cubbies so we didn't do the Grand Prix this year but it was really cute watching the older kids with their cars! Good Luck at the race!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice looking car~I'm sure you will all have fun! I ran across a picture tonight of my son doing Pinewood Derby and he is literally sitting on the floor, hands clasped praying, while his car is going down the track! Take lots of pictures and make great memories!!
