I had the great pleasure of meeting them on Sunday. They are here in Orlando on vacation and met me at the Carft fair in Cristmas, Florida. Wow! They are so fun! Wish we lived closer! I'm looking forward to developing a nice friendship with them!
This image is from the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge. I welded two shadow layers to make the base. It was cut at 4.45 inches. The sheer ribbon is from the Dollar Tree. I'm not sure where the paper is from because I've had it for a while. I added Glossy Accents to the beak and black bling for his eyes!
Here is my friend Robin's take on the card! Isn't it adorable? She's so talented! I'm glad she's my friend!
My husband, Adrian and his best bud Zeke. He's so happy! Here it comes! We are off to the AWANA grand Prix tonight! My husband, son and I worked together to make this sleek wood car! I love the way it turned out! Just pray that it makes it down the track and that my son has a blast!
UPDATE: We had so much fun! My son loved watching his car race, it came in second in two races and third the last time! I was proud that he did not shed one tear and rooted his friends on! MY husband was so glad that it made it all the way down the track! It was a great night!

Today we have been made aware of a little boy in Iowa who is fighting leukemia. We would like to participate in helping his wish coming true by encouraging all of you to use your creativity to make this happen. Here is what was posted on our Facebook page:
"Max Low is a 12 year old from Neola, Iowa. He has been battling cancer for half of his life. His doctors recently told his parents to enjoy the time they have left with him. His wish is to get 1 million cards. He has currently gotten about 23,000. If you would like to help Max get his wish, please send a get well card to the following address: Mighty Max Low, C/O Greg and Bambi Low, PO Box 111, Neola, IA 51559"
There was an article that was written about him in the Omaha World Herald in 2009 you can see it here
I made this card for someone who hired me to make a birthday card for her husband. My husband came home and picked it up to admire it and he smudged the Stickles by accident. I'm going to have to make a "Wet Stickles" sign. Lol! I made another one but I didn't get a chance to photograph it because I packaged it already. This one will be a sample.
